The Club Penguin Wiki aims to create a large database for all there is to know about the popular online game, Club Penguin. The wiki was founded on December 20, 2006 by V-Rex. Since then, we have been through many different administrators, but the current administrators are Seahorseruler (Promoted 29 June 2009), Tigernose (Promoted 2 January 2009), Hat Pop (Promoted 18 May 2009), ClubPenguinMaster (Promoted 29 January 2011), Sharkbate (Promoted 13 August 2011) and Nando144 (Promoted 19 November 2011). Feel free to contact any one of them if you have any questions at any time. Click here for a list of our policies and procedures. Simply Create an account and get started, go to an article and click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page to make a change to the page! What are you waiting for? Have fun!

We also have a sister wiki, the Club Penguin Fanon Wiki, where you can write fictional content about Club Penguin, use your imagination!

The Move

In November 2010 we started moving the site from its original spot at wikia to its current location here. Led mainly by Seahorseruler, Tigernose, and Andrew, a group of people started to import our three thousand something articles. People re-made their accounts on this site around December 2010.

New Wiki Era

Around this time, our host was DreamHost, who remains our domain registrar. The wiki started to fall apart with dreaded internal server errors, which was actually MediaWiki getting killed by a process on the server. But we still hit a milestone: be self-hosted, and make infrastructure, even if it was 2 servers at DreamHost. Some months later, we switched to Linode, which offers Linux VPSes. Our experience with them was great, and our first Linode was applecore. The wiki was very stable. We were forced to move back after 3 months, leaving us with DreamHost until we moved to dotCloud, which is a PaaS service. The wiki wasn't always stable and mostly required a reboot every day. Thankfully, reboots were short, but inconvenient nonetheless. We switched back to Linode (and a VPS called yoshi), and ever since the wiki has been stable as last time.
