Blog newsletters and newspapers were a recent craze that reported recent news in Club Penguin and also focused on the wiki. However, many users started creating these and fights and drama occured over them. Therefore, as of 7/26/2010, you can not create wiki-newspapers on blogs. Not only are they all reporting the same thing, they defeat the purpose of the official What's New Blog and the CPW blog - along with most of the stuff already being integrated into the wiki.

Creating a newspaper

If you would still like to have a newspaper, it must follow certain rules. The newspaper must be on a sub page, not a blog, so that no offensive comments could be made. Furthermore, several admins will have to accept it. The newspaper can be about Club Penguin events and wiki-related features like a personalised "User of the Month" or "interviews" are allowed, however only in moderation.

Consequences

Any newspapers made as of 7/26/2010 that are not approved will be deleted and the creator will be warned. If continued, then the creator will be blocked for a week.

Existing newspapers will also be deleted unless they are follow the above rules (i.e. Club Penguin only, on a sub-page) and are approved my several admins.
