This is a list of features found in the different versions of the Club Penguin app.

iPad

Version 1

This was the first version. it contains Pufflescape, Puffle Roundup, Ice Fishing, Puffle Rescue, the What's New Blog and YouTube. A special catalog and the friends list are available. There is a feature to throw snowballs from the app to another iPad or online, depending on which is logged into first. It also contains Sushi Drop, where the player receives sushi daily for using the app, then can use the sushi in Sushi Drop to earn coins and some items.

Version 1.1

It was updated with more levels for Pufflescape and Puffle Rescue, as well as the main feature, Card-Jitsu Snow. The catalog is also updated. Portuguese, Spanish, French and German languages are available in this version. A ninja mask was placed over the eyes of the penguin face on the app's icon.

Version 1.1.1

Version 1.1.1 added new catalog items, fixed music/sound issues for Card-Jitsu Snow, improved stability for the app, and corrected localization errors.

Version 1.2

Version 1.2 was released on August 29, 2013. The main page was updated to show a view of the Beach and the Town and an entrance to a igloo, and to the left a sign with 'Welcome to Club Penguin'. The app can now store 6 penguins in its memory. A bar on the bottom has also been added with buttons similar to Club Penguin online. The ignore list is now available in the version as well. When entering your igloo for the first time, a message pops up claiming puffles aren't available yet and the team is still working on them. Jet Pack Adventure's spin-off, Jetpack Boost has been released this version. Bean Counters and Jelly Bean Counters as been added to the app, being the exact same game as online. Sushi Drop has been updated with a few small graphical changes. The Sports, Furniture, Igloo and Martial Artworks catalogues were added. On the app's icon, the ninja mask was removed and the penguin's color was replaced with an igloo background.

Version 1.2.1

Version 1.2.1 was released on September 16, 2013. The Igloo Editor now shows the quantity of the item and the player cards and buddy lists were fixed.

Version 1.3

Version 1.3 was released on December 11, 2013 and is the current version. It contains Pizzatron 3000 and Smoothie Smash. Town, Coffee Shop, Night Club and Clothes Shop were the first rooms to be opened on the app. It was renamed to Club Penguin. There are two categories on the map: "Places" and "Games". A week later, on December 18, the Christmas decoration arrived on the menu and Snow Forts, Dock, Beach, Lighthouse and Beacon were added on the app. On January 16, the Cove, Forest, Mine Shack and Stadium were added. On February 13, the School was added. Four days later, on February 17, the Iceberg was added.

Beta

Needed work since the screen is smaller making it difficult to play certain games or do certain tasks.
