Tour Description
When on the test (solo):
Hmm... Looks like I'm the only one here. I can't really give a tour to just myself... or can I? Here we have the Facility. It's pretty empty.

After finishing the test and before going on the test (multiplayer):
Here we have an average, Everyday Phoning Facility. Yup, not much to see here. Nothing suspicious about it at all... let's move on.

The Everyday Phoning Facility was the building that replaced the Sport Shop after the Popcorn Explosion. It was announced in the Club Penguin Times on May 27, 2010. Construction on the Everyday Phoning Facility began on May 25, 2010, two days before it was officially announced. Secret Agents and anyone who received a special postcard could take the four EPF Tests there, and Elite Penguin Force Agents could use a lift to get to the EPF Command Room. The postcard required in order to take the test could be sent by any EPF agent. Inside the facility, camera #1 (the camera with which you see) would give one's name and status (citizen if they had not taken the test, new recruit if they were in the process of taking the test or EPF agent if they had completed the test). Although it was named the Everyday Phoning Facility, one couldn't phone anybody with the telephone. The telephone appeared to be bigger than a penguin, but on April 26th, 2011, the room was destroyed with the Snow Cat and is inaccesible.

Involvement with the Elite Penguin Force

In the Everyday Phoning Facility, you could take a test to join the Elite Penguin Force. You needed to complete 4 tests: The "aim test", the "speed test", the "stealth test", and the "problem solving test". If you passed most of the tests, an elevator came out of the top right column and it took you to the new EPF Command Room. The initials of 'Everyday Phoning Facility" spelt EPF.

Walkthrough of the test

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow. Click “Expand” to view spoilers.

To get a full score:

  1. Throw a snowball at the target.
  2. Walk to green square.
  3. Wait, look closely at the TV.
  4. Get to the red square before the timer reaches a minute.
  5. Go away from red square.
  6. The cameras should turn off. You should see camera 2.
  7. Throw a snowball at Camera 2 to blind it.
  8. Move behind either the bottom-left or bottom-right pillar.
  9. Wait.
  10. When the camera searches, it should not detect you.
  11. When the trap is fully loaded, throw a snowball at the power box, throw a snowball into the trap, or do not walk on the blue square at all.
  12. You have two options:
  • Go to the Command Room
  • Hit the target again to take the quiz again.
  • Note: If you do walk onto the blue square hit the power box with a snowball to get out, but please note doing this will not give you a perfect score.
Spoilers end here.

Involvement in Game

It did not play a key role in the Club Penguin society but in a Newspaper (August 19, 2010), there was an article on how the Facility was becoming more popular for no apparent reason. Even though there was supposedly nothing to do in there, penguins came in and out of it all day. There was also a picture of an EPF agent holding up the updated EPF Spy Phone in the Club Penguin Times.
