The April Fools' Party 2006 was the first annual April Fools' party in Club Penguin. It was only held for only one day, 31 March (the April Fools' eve).
A competition was held in the Club Penguin Times to see who could find the exact number of differences to Club Penguin Island. Players could post their guess in the newspaper. Because of this, the party was often referred to as Topsy Turvy Day.
Pranks played in this party
Only few rooms are decorated, but most rooms is like normal, but with pranks.
- In the newspaper on 30 March said that this party will go on for 2 days, 31 March to 1 April, but the party ended at 1 April 2006 at 12:00AM PST. (Ended one day before)
- When walking in the Coffee Shop, you will go to gift shop.
- The Night Club music is played very fast.
- Snow Forts flags were replaced by socks.
- Ice Rink puck and goals were replaced by Igloo furnitures.
- There were lots of fish in the Ski Lodge. And the "Gone Fishing" sign was only "Go Fi"
