The Black Toque is a head item in Club Penguin that costs 75 coins in the Penguin Style catalog. Members were able to buy this item for 75 coins. A non-members' version was given out at the Server Testing Event, in which players tested servers, then received clothing for their hard efforts. All players were able to obtain this item for 75 coins in Items For Everyone Catalog during the Marvel Super Hero Takeover 2012 or in Marvel Catalog during the Marvel Super Hero Takeover 2013.
In the December 2008 Penguin Style catalog, it went with the Green Winter Jacket.
In the Items For Everyone catalog, it went with the Mask and Up To No Good Suit.
History
The Black Toque is a head item that was first available on December 5, 2005 as a free item. It returned in the January 2006 and December 2008 issues of the Penguin Style catalog. It was also brought back for the Marvel Super Hero Takeovers in 2012 and 2013. The latest return of the item was in the August 2015 edition of the Penguin Style, among many old items.
