Club Penguin Wiki:Archive/Wall of Fame Issue

Hey guys, it's Sharkbate. It's been a while since I've done something good for the wiki. There are some things that I believe should change and I'd like to start with the Wall of Fame.

There are lots on the Wall of Fame and many of them don't have good reasons for being on there. If you look at it, you mostly see, "good friend", "good quotes", "funny", etc. How are those good reasons? I don't want to disrespect anybody on there, but it's time to remove some people who don't really deserve to be up there. Being friendly or funny has nothing to do with the editing of the wiki. There are lots of friendly people on this wiki who aren't up there. The people I believe should not be up there include:

Mrperson777*	Being a really friendly user and a great help in welcoming other users.
Flystar55555	Being a great friend and a great contributor.
Freeloh	Being a great user, having amazing edits, and funny quotes.
Pingali Moi*	Being active in 2009.
Yowuza	Being a great contributor.
Sheepman	Being brave and standing up for his friend.
Ced1214*	Being active in 2009.

As you can see, many involve being a great friend, being funny, or being active for a certain amount of time. The only one I may be overreacting on is Sheepman. I support what he did by standing up for someone, but there are still lots of people on this wiki (or were on this wiki) that have done the same thing and aren't up there. As you may notice, some people have a star beside their name. I believe they should be up there, but I think their reason should be altered a little bit. Being nice/friendly user, being active, being brave, being funny? To me, those don't seem like good reasons. I believe making a great donation, getting involved with many community discussions and making a difference, moderating the wiki to prevent vandalism, taking on a huge responsibility for the good of the wiki, and making the wiki much better by inserting your ideas are all good reasons to at least be nominated.

I don't know how the rest of you will react to this, I just thought I'd point out that some of these people shouldn't really be on the wall. Am I saying these aren't great users? No. I think Flystar55555 and Ced1214 were both great users! I was happy to be their friend when they were here.

What do you guys think? Are you for or against the removal of those users?

• I support the removal, however you said yourself that Sheepman might be acceptable so I suggest just keeping him. I suggest that because in 5 years, only 23 or so people are up there, and he seems like he did some very good things. Cp kid Let's talk! 02:50, 21 April 2012 (UTC)

• I did not know some of these people, but judging by some of the reasons, they don't sound like Wall of Fame users to me.

• I agree. However, Ced fisn't up on the wall for being active in 2009, but for being one of the most active editors and administrators of 2009, proving to be an invaluable member of the community, as it says on the wall. Maybe edit his description on the table you made on this page on why he shouldn't be on the wall. His description actually makes him sound wall-worthy though, at least to me. • Neutral for now. I have always upheld the "Once on the wall, always on the wall" rule, but you have a point. However, I think Ced should remain, and Pingali Moi/Mrperson777 should remain but just have their sections rewritten. --Seahorseruler ^{(Talk Page) (Contribs)} 12:25, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
