The Desi-bel Record is a hand item in Club Penguin. "Desi-bel" is a play on the word decibel, which is a unit used to measure sound. It is based off Indian music. Also, "desi" means "in/of the country" in Hindi, an Indian language. Members were able to buy it for 75 coins in the DJ3K Game Upgrades, which enabled players to use the "Desi-bel" loops in the game. Similar items are the Festival Record, the Funky Record, the House Blend Record, the Jungle Record, the Monster Muzak and the Reggaetron Record.
History
The Desi-bel Record was released as an addition to the DJ3K Game Upgrades catalog in July 2010. It was removed in July 2014 when the game was replaced by SoundStudio. It is currently a common item.
