Ruby and the Ruby is a play in Club Penguin. It is a mystery story about a 'stolen' ruby. It is unique in the way that it has a hidden background, a hidden pin (which you can get by following the clues in the Script) and a secret playbill in the Penguin Times (which you can see if you click the right things).
Private detective Jacques Hammer has a nose for sniffing out trouble. One night, in the middle of terrible thunderstrom, the fiery Ms. Ruby turns up in his office with a problem. There's a missing gemstone, and Jacques is the man to find it. As he's looking around for clues, a fishy looking character turns up outside. Maybe he's got answers for Jacques...

Jacques Hammer is a detective. He is approached by Ms. Ruby, who asks him to find her lost ruby. His name is a pun on Jackhammer.
The fiery Ms. Ruby has a problem; she's lost her precious gemstone. On a stormy night, she consults Detective Hammer, in hopes that she and her ruby can be reunited.
Tenor is interviewed by Jacques Hammer. It is revealed that he likes to play Hopscotch; he has his own Hopscotch "gang". Also, Ruby suspects that he is the one who stole her ruby. His name is based on a type of male singing voice.
