The Unnamed Story

Chapter 1

Vmmmmm... Vmmmmm...

"Huh... Wha? Oh." Reeze slid his spy phone out of his pocket and smiled. Another Field- Op! He slipped into the shadow of a tree and pressed his flipper against the EPF Command Room button. As the world around him faded into a blue nothingness except for a white spinning arrow, he wondered what Herbert was up to this time.

Could it be a broken antennae on the radio tower? Reeze thought. No... That happened last week.

Then, out of the blue (literally), Reeze was in a dark room with blaring red lights and sirens.

"WHAT'S GOING ON?" he screamed. Penguins were ducking under tables and frantically searching for their phones. Some immediately teleported out of the room, while others were jabbing at their spy phones trying to get them to work. Reeze rushed over to a penguin hiding behind a cabinet. "What about the Field- Op?!" he shouted.

"That's what we all said. It's a trick! Herbert hacked into the system and lured us here. Now most of our spy phones don't work!" the other penguin replied, trying to sound calm.

"So we're stuck in her-" Reeze was cut off by the sound of ripping. The ceiling was being torn apart! A massive white face stared down at the terrified penguins.

"DID YOU SERIOUSLY THINK YOU HAD GOTTEN RID OF ME AFTER MY HYDRA-BOTS FAILED? YOU'RE MISTAKEN, ELITE PETTY FOOLS! I'M BACK- AND YOU'VE GOT NOBODY TO STOP ME NOW! Oh, are you whimpering for Gary to come and save you? THINK AGAIN!" Herbert turned his giant body around until you could see something like a clear oxygen tank strapped to his back. Inside were all of the mascots!

"No! Not Cadence..." the penguin by Reeze muttered.

"What? Where's Sensei? And the Director?" Reeze asked, terrified. The alarms had gone silent and all of the penguins in the room were shuddering.

"I don't know... He probably escaped! After all, he is Sensei... And the Director is Aunt Arctic. I thought everyone knew that... I know this is no time for an introduction, but I'm Bman2007Jazz. You can just call me Bman though," the penguin clarified.

"I'm Reeze," Reeze responded.

"OH, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO NOW?! NOTHING! HA HA HA HA!!! KLUTZY, IS IT TIME TO BLOW THIS PLACE TO DUST?!" Herbert roared.

Bman motioned for Reeze to follow him, and they crawled on their hands and knees to the Virtual Reality tube transporter. The penguins under the overturned table quickly did the same, and soon twelve figures were across the room and in the VR tube. It made a soft whirring sound and a flash of light transported the group to the VR Room.

Not knowing his audience had abandoned him, Herbert roared excitedly as the fuse on the bomb neared its end.

Chapter 2

As the light faded, all twelve penguins rubbed their eyes. Suddenly, a very loud BOOM rocked the building.

"There goes the Command Room..." Reeze muttered.

All of the penguins looked around in disbelief. They all decided to introduce themselves, and soon Reeze, Bman, Awesome, Cp kid, Chill, Brookelas, LordMaster, HatPop, Seahorseruler, Sharkbate, Tux, and Gary the Gaget Dude were huddled in the corner, unsure of what to do. Tux was busy clicking away at his laptop, trying to breach the security lock on the VR tube transporter.

An hour or two passed, and the group of penguins tried and failed and tried again to use the tube to transport out. Every penguin had, at least twice, rubbed their bellies in hunger. Almost all hope was lost, until suddenly a low humming sound could be heard. A projection slowly flickered to light, and a voice said, "Hello, grasshoppers."

"Sensei?" Every penguin turned to face the new arrival and smiled.

"You came to save us!" shouted Gary the Gaget Dude.

Sensei's face lowered and he frowned. "No, grasshopper. I'm sorry. The only person that can save you is yourself. I do have one Haiku to share:

Two penguins are lost
They will be your hope and guide
Follow the cards' path.

The projection flickered and then vanished. "What..." Awesome muttered.

Another few hours passed. Two of the light bulbs had burned out, and Tux's laptop was on the verge of dying. The room was becoming gloomier and darker as the day neared its end. Suddenly, Seahorseruler sprang up off the ground. "I've got it! I know how to get out! All we have to do is change the VR setting to the old HQ! The TV screens on the wall will teleport us out of here!" All of the penguins excitedly agreed. LordMaster rushed over to the control panel and switched the setting. All of a sudden, the room faded into darkness.

"Shoot! The light bulbs all burned out," he complained.

"It's not the bulbs that are the problem... It's that," HatPop observed. Everyone turned to face the window and gasped... The Lighthouse was gone.
