The Club Penguin Wiki Network and its staff members have finalized a merger deal. Below are the details as discussed in the meeting on August 1st (source).
Rights management
The CPWikia community will be able to decide on a shortlist of administrator candidates. Once a shortlist of potential admins on CPWN is formed (these can range from CPWikia admins to regular users), the current staff and admins of the CPWN will review the shortlist to ensure all users on the list are reasonably chosen.
Then, the CPWN staff and admins will decide on three users from the shortlist to nominate to Requests for Adminship. From then on, the community will have a week to vote for the candidates they would like to see in the administrator position.
Furthermore, all rollbacks from CPWikia will retain their rights on the CPWN.
Chatmods from CPWikia will not retain their rights. Because the Wikia Chat will be coming to CPWN, we will need to appoint some chatmods anyways. Chatmods will have to go through a "Request for Chatmod" process, where an application will be submitted and an admin will review it. This will not go through community vote.
Editcounts and contributions
All users that make an account on the CPWN will retain the same editcount they had on Wikia. However, physical contributions will not be imported as this will take a very long time and would cause compatibility problems with the CPWN database. Your efforts on Wikia will not be ignored, however, and will be reflected in your editcount.
Anybody can create an account on CPWN and with whatever name they want (it doesn't have to be your Wikia username). If it is a different name, we will still modify your editcount.
Welcoming Users
The CPWN community will hold the promise that they will welcome all users from CPWikia. We promise that there will not be any discrimination or infighting.
