There are only a few patrollers, and I noticed the right is kind of not needed because vandalism/spam rates are very low, so the current admins can handle deletions. Plus, it may confuse newer users, if they see someone deleting something, they may instantly assume it is an administrator (and therefor think they have the final say/decision on something's deletion). Current users will patroller will be migrated to simply the rollback group if this passes. Also, if you are a patroller, don't vote no because you don't want to loose your rights, this is in no way related to something you did, its just I feel the right is not needed, and rollback would be more suitable. Thanks. --Seahorseruler <staff /> (Talk Page) (Contribs) 02:10, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

- It was a pointless right in the first place. It's the reason why we had that recent TurtleShroom crisis, and overall it's just dumb. --Tigernose

- I happened to introduce it upon Seahorse's request some time ago (when the wiki moved to 000webhost originally). I agree with removal. Andrew (The devil is down in Georgia) (Product of human clones) 20:01, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

- I'll have to agree with Sea. I think at the moment five admins would be enough to deal with any type of spam or vandalism, and we could, for now, give the patrollers the rollback right. Until the wiki gets more traffic, I think it's best to get rid of this. --

- I think the Admins can handle it alone... ShrimpPin ( Talk ) Go Purple Pups! 12:48, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
- Not much vandalism here. Plus, the only major difference is that patrollers can delete pages which the administration usually does more than the current patrollers. --ClubPenguinMaster • Talk 17:22, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
- Also to Brook: Patrollers are not ALWAYS online either.
- I don't get it: Why are we removing them? They have been very nice, I know vandalism level is extremely low, but what if a vandal comes? They are also very helpful on the wiki, so I vote no. Cooldude254 18:09, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
- Since the vandalism is low, when vandals come, the admins can take care of it. --ClubPenguinMaster • Talk 18:17, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
- You have a point. --
