There have been many currencies (types of money or equivalent to money) in Club Penguin. This page lists all of them.

Coin

See main article: Coin

The coin was the first currency in Club Penguin, and is the only currency that is "circulated" on a constant basis. Almost all clothing and furniture items in Club Penguin must be bought with coins that penguins have earned from playing mini-games, earning salaries, etc.

Ticket

See main article: Ticket

Tickets were the first temporary currency on Club Penguin. Tickets first appeared as currency at the Fall Fair 2007, and have been needed to buy prizes at every fair since then. To earn them, you have to play Fair games or play in special rooms from The Fair 2014.

Medal

See main article: Medal (Currency)

Medals are awards given to EPF Agents after they complete assignments. They have been used since 2010 as a currency to redeem items from the Elite Gear catalog. You can earn stamps if you earn a certain amount of medals.

Scare Points

See main article: Scare Points

Scare Points were a temporary currency that were first introduced at the Monsters University Takeover. To earn scare points, penguins must "compete" in the Scare Games or scare other penguins. Like tickets, scare points can be used to purchase items from the Scare Catalog.

Meteor Points

See main article: Meteor Points

Meteor Points are a temporary currency that were first introduced at the Future Party. To earn meteor points, penguins must go to Space and destroy meteors or robots. Like tickets and scare points, meteor points can be used to purchase items from the Future Catalog.
