Chapter 1: Prolouge

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
August 2010

Vancouver BC - Canada's third-largest city, and the largest city in the province of British Columbia. Widely known as a livable city, Vancouver is proudly known for its beautiful landscape, wonderful sights, mixed culture, and friendly hospitality.

Little did the residents of this city knows, lively Vancouver is in danger. A secret operation is in business at an isolated area near Downtown Vancouver. This secret operation is appearently ran by.... alley penguins.

What will this operation do to Vancouver? So far, the alley penguins are hard at work. Hard at work at trying to destory everything in their path!

The penguins are from Abbotsford, where they were known as criminal masterminds. There are ten penguins involved in this plan, and they all hailed from the Fraser River Valley. They came to Vancouver, disguised as ordinary citizens with a purpose.

The alley penguins' leader is Carl, and he is one of British Columbia... no, make that all of Canada's Most Wanted villians. He had been convicted in 1998 for attempted murder in Calgary, and convicted again in 2005 for ransom in Nanaimo. He was also fined for capturing a group of endangered Vancouver Island marmots illegally in 2009! Now, he is coming to Vancouver to commit a serious crime that would change the face of Canada forever negatively.

But, that would not happen, thanks to an American who just wanted to visit the Good Luck City for vacation, but wound up saving the world at the same time! Here is the story.

Chapter 2: Cody Cadwills, Canadian intelligence

San Mateo county, California
September 2010

Homsolo is an ordinary penguin hailing from San Francisco. She was taking a break from her job to take a vacation in Vancouver, and she was just arriving at the airport to board a plane bound for Vancouver. After boarding and flying for many miles, the plane landed at Vancouver International Airport in Richmond, British Columbia.

After getting everything dealt with at YVR, Homsolo walked around the city, she was just passing by the West End when an aqua-colored penguin is peeking out from the side of a building. That penguin is a secret agent, a Vancouver local. He is doing a bit of undercover work, trying to find the alley penguins' hideout and infiltrate it. His name is - we'll see.

The agent swiftly walked out, and walked by like a regular citizen. He couldn't find anybody acting suspicious at the West End. In fact, he tried so many neighborhoods - Gastown, Kitsilano, Chinatown, even the shady denizens at the Downtown Eastside are being their own shady selves, but aren't acting violent. Still, the agent didn't give up. He knows that the alley penguins were out there. He decides to try South Main.

Meanwhile, Homsolo, the tourist, was exploring Canada Place, and was thinking of riding the AquaBus around False Creek. Then, a seaplane soars above. The seaplane was operated by the Alley Penguins as part of their plan to destory Vancouver.

"Any infiltrators?" Carl asked as the seaplane flys above the sky.

"Not at all, sir." one of his lowly assistants, Cody, said. Cody is actually an agent working undercover.

"Good. I'm planning on hiding at the North Shore to think of ideas."

"Um, maybe we should just stay at our base..."

"Shut up! I'm the leader, I talk. You don't talk."

"Fine then."

The seaplane lands carefully at the North Shore mountains. Due to altitude, the evil genius decides to stay in the plane to think up of ideas.

"Ok, first, we devise a way to destory the glass buildings, ruin Stanley Park, and abduct the citizens and move them all to the Okanagon Valley! Oh, this means we'll have to clear up the rest of Metro Vancouver. We'll ruin BC'c economy and the world's favorite city this way, and we'll be able to take revenge on the entire government next!" Carl evily said.

"Good ideas. But what should we do to the land that remains before us?" Cody asked.

"We'll make a new gigantic city with the land, and rename it Carlville!" Carl laughed.

"Carlville? Sounds catchy!" Cody snickered.

"Hey, like I have all day to decide on good names!" Carl screamed. "Listen up, dummy, I'm only saying this to you privately, cause you're a Very Important Assistant. Excuse me when I tell the other bozos my idea." He walked out of the cockpit to contact everybody else.

Cody watched as Carl walked away. Then, he takes out his speaker phone, and whispered "LM, I got the perpetrator's plan. My current location is the North Shore mountains on a giant seaplane, copy."

"Copy that." said the voice of the mysterious aqua-agent. "I'll be right over in a few, hang in there."

"Copy." Cody replied. Suddenly...

Carl walked back in the cockpit, and found Cody contacting his fellow agent!

"So you're a lie! You're no minion!" Carl shouted. "Where's the real minion?"

"He's still knocked out..." Cody stammered.

"Well, I'll knock you out! I heard what you told that blue jerk!"

"Actually, I... ah, what do I care? I can handle this."

"MINIONS! We have an infiltrator!" Carl yelled at his minions. Suddenly, a lowly group of yellow penguins ran to the giant cockpit and knocked Cody unconcious with a crowbar.

"There! We got Cody Cadwills dealt with. Now to find that blue idiot and exile him to a desert. Let's leave Mr. Cadwills at the mountains for dead."

Thus, the unconcious Cody was thrown out of the plane, and the plane flew off the mountains.

Chapter 3: Welcome to the espionage world

The aqua-agent was on a SkyTrain to Canada Place when he suddenly lost contact with Cody.

Oh no. the agent thought. Cody must've ran into trouble. Looks like I'm on my own.

When he arrived at the station, he was about to board the SeaBus when...

"Wow, the boatride was fun!" Homsolo said to herself.

The agent thought, Hmm... perhaps she could help. She doesn't look local-like. She seems like she's American, and I know Americans are a big help.

The agent walked up to Homsolo, disguised as a tour guide. He said, "Hey, need any help getting around Vancouver?"

"Uh, yes." Homsolo answered. "Can you tell me where the aquarium is?"

"The Aquarium?" the agent said. "I'll tell you later. But may you please tell me where your hotel is? We need to talk."

"Uh, ok." Homsolo answered, puzzled on what the agent is trying to do.

Once at the hotel, the agent began to introduce himself.

"I'm sorry I had to do this. But I really needed your help. My codename is LM. Nice to meet you, fair American." The agent said. They both shook flippers, and then he went on, "As a matter of fact, I'm part of the Canadian secret agency, and I needed you to help me out in a very important mission that would save the city."

"What? You're an agent?" Homsolo asked, puzzled. "But I'm just a tourist!"

"Yes, yes, I understand." The agent replied. "But my fellow agent is missing in action, and I need a replacement. Listen up, there are idiots that will destory this city! Unless we stop them together, we won't have a place to live and enjoy, and our economy will be ruined!"

Homsolo's eyes widened. She now understood why the local dragged her into her hotel for a discussion.

"Please help us. The fate of our city is in our flippers. You won't receive training yet, as I think you have the instincts."

Homsolo thought for a few minutes. Seconds later, she jumped at the offer. "Ok, I'm in!"

"Ok, now let's head off to the Alley Penguins' headquarters. I bet those thugs are back here."

"Where are their headquarters?"

"An isolated area in Downtown."

Chapter 4: Infiltrate!

When the agents arrived at Downtown, they witnessed smoke and fire everywhere. The Vancouver Canucks had recently lost the Stanley Cup finals to the Boston Bruins, and residents were already outraged. Surprised, the pair tried to get around the mob.

The agents went to an abandoned lot, which wasn't affected by the riot. The alley penguins spotted the agents immedietely.

"Oh, no. Let's bolt!" shouted one of the alley penguins.

"Oh no you're not." the aqua agent said. Then, he ran off after them. Homsolo followed.

With the agents hot on their trail, the alley penguins managed to reach Stanley Park. They came upon bikes for rental, and each boarded on a bike. They then took off.

Once the agents arrived, there were only two bikes left. They took the bikes, and rode off after their most wanted enemies.

Chapter 5: Bike Chase Part 1 - Stanley Park

Stanley Park is Vancouver's largest park. Large enough to be its very own neighborhood, even! That's where the aquarium is located, and this is where Vancouverites hang around, exercising, and having a good time.

Meanwhile, the biking alley penguins were trying to lose the agents biking after them.

"Gah, they're after us." Carl said, annoyed. "Pedal faster, you morons!"

"We're trying." the other alley penguins say.

"I have a feeling that they're gonna ride out to North Vancouver." the aqua agent said to Homsolo. "You're ready for more?"

"I can." Homsolo said. "I love biking."

"Ok, good, just checking." the aqua agent replied.

Sure enough, the alley penguins suddenly remembered that the SeaBus terminal was near Waterfront Station. They turned and headed there.
