Welcome to the Club Penguin Wiki, Quackerpingu!

Hi there! Welcome to the Club Penguin Wiki, the free online encyclopedia all about Club Penguin! We hope you enjoy your stay here.

If you want to discuss improvements to a page, use its talk page. A talk page is the discussion section for the page it is about. User's have their own talk pages so that different people can message them. The page you are on now is your talk page, which will be used to receive messages. Whenever you make a comment on a talk page, be sure to sign your post with your signature. You can do this by typing 4 tildes (~~~~). You can also click the button on the edit bar to do the same thing. There is also IRC, where you can also talk about the wiki (for help, or for general discussion about it) or socializing, like a talk page, but in real time.

All users have their very own user page. User pages are pages in which the user, who owns the page, can describe themselves. Feel free to fill out your user page with information about yourself, and anything else you would like to say.

A few users called Administrators have extra tools to maintain the wiki. They have special abilities such as blocking users, deleting pages, reverting edits, and a few others. Administrators' names will normally show in green. A list of Administrators can be found here. If an admin asks you to stop doing something, it is best to respect their request and do as you are told. Sometimes not listening to them in cases where you are breaking our policy may result in a block.

Before you begin editing, we also kindly ask you to read our policy first, to avoid any blocks and to be aware of our rules.

Editing is the act of changing a page, adding information onto it. Your knowledge of the game is the prime reason why we are a large website. Pages are divided into many namespaces, ranging from our article mainspace (about Club Penguin) to userspace (about you and the users) to projectspace (about the wiki itself). Articles are our most important pages that are informative and have information on different things on Club Penguin. An example of an article would be the Coffee Shop page. To edit a page, click the "Edit this page" button on the top of the page.

Please note that this wiki is not a forum, but we do have a forum that can be used to simply chat, talk about wiki issues or project new ideas!

If you make a mistake while editing, do not stress! Just go to the bottom of the article and click "Report a problem on this page". Just explain what happened. If you intentionally mess up a page, you will be blocked from editing, per our policy.

There are many more advanced things that you will learn as you go on. However, it is imperative that you check out our Manual of Style. If you are not aware of the rules in the Manual of Style and Policy, you may be blocked, and it will not be our fault that you were not informed. Therefore, it is very important you go through the manual of style.

You should read What the Club Penguin Wiki is not.

For further help when editing wikis, be sure to visit Our Help Center.

You can also modify some of your account settings such as a custom signature at your Preferences. If you want to learn how to make a cool signature, click here!

Thanks! And, once again, welcome to the Club Penguin Wiki! We are looking forward to working with you!

Editing...

Hello, Quackerpingu!

Normally, when editing a page, you edit it as close to once as possible. What you did on Golden Puffle was unnecessary (making 6 changes in a row, blanking the page), and could make you look like a vandal. Would you want to be looked down upon as a vandal? I don't think so. (Blanking the page is actually against the policy)

The page Puffles is for real puffles only. You were filling the article with rumors. Nando144 Talk with me! 18:47, 29 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Your userpage has been protected

Hello there. According to this policy, your userpage and any other subpages under it, have been protected. To find out how you can solve this issue, please click on the previous link. Thank you. For a break down of your edits, including how many are mainspace and how many are userpage, click here.

Nando144 Talk with me! 18:12, 11 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Edit

Hi Quackerpingu. The reason your userpage and puffle list pages are protected is because more than 40% of your edits are going to them. When they're protected you aren't supposed to make a new page... You're supposed to edit until your userpage edit percentage gets below 40%. Then the admins will unprotect your pages for you. I'm just letting you know that they'll protect the new page too when the see it. :) Have a great day. Cp kid Let's talk! 15:34, 7 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

re. protection

1. you are looking for User:Nando144 2. go make some more mainspace edits, you have made 60% userspace edits

RE: RE:

I'm not an admin, so I can't protect it. I'm just trying to tell you thet they're going to protect all of your userpages until your userpage edit % drops below 40%. The only way to do that is to edit mainpage articles(Clothes articles, basically everything that isn't a "User:" article). Cp kid Let's talk! 15:44, 7 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Protections

Edit on the main section (articles) and your user percent will down! Nando144 Talk with me! 15:43, 7 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

...

No offense, but PLEASE STOP CREATING USER SUB-PAGES! The admins are going to keep protecting your pages until you actually EDIT THE WIKI! They don't care if you say not to protect it... Also, i'm guessing that if you do it one more time they might block you. Cp kid Let's talk! 20:39, 7 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Userspace pages

The Club Penguin Wiki is not a social site like Facebook. Your userspace articles will keep being protected until your percentage of userspace edits drop down to below 40%, which you can see here. To do this, you must edit articles with names that don't start with "User:", and asking admins not to protect your pages won't work. Also, read the userpage policy. --PenBlooeR 20:54, 7 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sub-pages

Before your userpage editions percent don't down under 40% you cant creat new subpages. Nando144 Talk with me! 20:55, 7 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Excuse me?

I am administrator here. I do what the policy says I should do and your userspace edits is currently in violation of the userpage policy. The limit is 40% of all edits, and if you look at the stats here, over 56% of your edits are under userspace, which can be userpage and user sub pages. Until the userspace edit percentage is under 40%, I will not unprotect those pages.

Please note that I do have the ability to block you from editing if you just ignore this and create more sub pages. --AdministratorNetwork staffError504 22:50, 7 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sub-pages

Stop to creat subpages and start edit in Mainspace. Your userpage edition percent is still above 40%. If you still ignore the warnings, you will be blocked. Nando144 Talk with me! 16:36, 16 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Club Penguin add four items on June 1, 2011 with name associated with shadow, we don't known for what they will be used. I think that tems from Card-Jitsu Snow will be add when the game is released.
  • Card-Jitsu Shadow wasn't yet confirmed and Card-Jitsu Snow was confirmed by Spike Hike.
  • The Club Penguin Wiki was offline because the entire network was moved to a new host.

Hello

Hi Quackerpingu,

We have noticed that you are putting all of your user page content on templates. The template namespace is primarily for articles and should be used sparingly for user pages. Please move all of the stuff on those templates back directly on to your user page. Examples of these templates are Template:EditTempList and Template:QPoll..

The template namespace doesn't belong to anyone specific so it should very rarely be used for custom user page content. If you do not move the content back on to your user page, the templates may be deleted, so please be sure to do so as soon as possible.

Additionally, we noticed that you put the {{Delete}} template on Brookelas's logo submission for the Puffle Party. It has been removed, because you did not offer a valid reason for deletion. Please do not tag images or articles for deletion just because you do not like them. You must have a valid reason. If you have a reason, please include it with the template. For example: {{Delete|vandalism}} or {{Delete|duplicate page}}.

Finally, we have removed several things from User:Quackerpingu/Templates, such as Template:Party. These are are navboxes which are intended only for articles. When these were on your page, it was causing your page to be listed under Category:Parties etc. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to message either one of us on our talk pages.

Thank You,
Sharkbate and Seahorse (01:59, 10 March 2013 (UTC))Reply

RE:

Thank you for your general cooperation. We ask that you do copy the coding to a lot of your userpage templates to your userpage itself before these templates are deleted.

Hey Again

I appreciate you helping out with the Favicon vote, but it isn't your 'job' to announce the winning vote. This is usually left for an administrator to do.

Warning

Hi Quackerpingu. Your recent edit on this page seemed like random junk that you added to the page, so I reverted it. Please stop adding non-progressive (useless) content to pages, or else you might be banned in the future if you keep doing it. Thank you for your understanding. It's Klutzy

Hello! It's not Klepto it's actually Klutzy. Klepto appears in Puffle Launch, but in Jet Pack Boost it's Klutzy who uses the Aqua Grabber. I took that picture directly from CP's files and it was named: klutzy_ship.png And as you may have noticed, Klutzy is different from every other crabs in Club Penguin. His paws are smaller. Here's how Klepto's legs are: http://www.clubpenguinwiki.info/wiki/File:Puffle_Launch_Final_Boss_Defeated.png Good job noticing the Puffle Launch crab's name is Klepto! I've heard Club Penguin confirmed it by a card or something.. If you could find pictures of the card and create Klepto's article, it would be great!--Grande Yoda (talk) 15:19, 6 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Excuse me

Quackerpingu, please stop moving the color templates. They are not main articles so they can stay with the "colour" spelling. Thank you! --Hat Pop Bunny Ears Rule! 13:55, 1 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Stop it! They aren't items! They just say which colour someone is on CP!! Not the item they are wearing! STOP! --Penstubal (Talk) (Edits) 13:58, 1 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'm telling you that these templates are not to be moved. They are not items and most readers don't even see them, so it's okay to keep the spelling as "colour". If they were in main articles, then you could change the spelling as we go by CP's spelling there. Please do not move these templates (but we can keep the redirect). --Hat Pop Bunny Ears Rule! 14:02, 1 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please

Please stop reverting Mario Rk's edits. They aren't vandalism or bad quality. If you revert any edit, please include a reason.

Thanks, Quacker.

Edits

Hello Quackerpingu,

I noticed that you have been editing recently, which is great. But, there are few problems that you must probably avoid. First, please don't remove the licenses from any image uploaded (whether it is your or anybody else). Second, the table you recently made is kinda messed up, so if you need help please inform us and please make the table as clean as possible. You can make a Sandbox and complete your table over there, this is a suggestion though.

Thank you, --Wolfgangs (Talk) 14:42, 15 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Re:/

Dude, even if they are old, there licenses must remain there. If you want to delete them, then request an admin to do so. But please, the licenses are required or your images might get removed. --Wolfgangs (Talk) 17:48, 15 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
