Welcome to the Club Penguin Wiki, the free online encyclopedia all about Club Penguin! We hope you enjoy your stay here. To get you started on the wiki, here are some basic things we'd thought you'd like to know: Edit - To edit an article, simply click the 'edit' button at the top of the page. Editing is the act of changing a page. Your knowledge is the main reason why we are a large website. Articles are our most important pages that are informative and have information on different things on Club Penguin. User page - All users have their very own user page, or "profile". Your user page is your very own page, where you can describe yourself. Feel free to fill out your user page with information about yourself, and anything else you would like to say. User talk - Every user in this wiki has a talk page, which enables you to communicate with other users, even if they're not online. They can send messages to you, while you can too through the talk page. You can add your signature by typing 4 tildes (~~~~). You can also click the button on the edit bar to do the same thing. IRC (Chat) - The wiki has an IRC Channel, which can used to chat with other users in the wiki. You can meet your friends there, make new friends and ask for help if needed. The admins are usually active in IRC, it can be an easy way to get help from them. Click here to join our IRC chat. The Berg - The Berg is the Club Penguin Wiki's official newspaper. Check it monthly for as there may be an event you might want to take part in or the site admins may have important information for you. Others - There is much more to the wiki than just editing articles! You can write a party review, host your own party or even upload a funny picture! See the full list of things you can do here! Here are a few I just made up. Parts are bold black because they are links to your talk page, and we're already on your talk page :P Rainbow Puffles - A signature can have 1 or 2 images that are 20px each. Rainbow Puffles - Your signature could also have a different font. This one has "Comic Sans MS", my favorite :P Rainbow Puffles - Your signature words could have a different color, background, or both! Unfortunately no rainbow though :P All three of the ones above have "Rainbow" linking to your userpage and "Puffles" linking to your talk page, however you could make different links as well, which i'll show below. Rainbow Puffles Talk to me! - In this one "Talk to me!" is linking to your talk page. So as you can see, there are many more possibilities than simply removing (talk) from your signature, and there are many more I didn't even mention such as the <big> template, italics, bolding, etc. You could remove it altogether if you really want, or you could just change it. Here's what I made for your signature. ♥Rainbow Puffles Want the chat of your life - That greyish color is what the computer/internet registers when we put "lavender" there, so if you want it a darker lavender color just tell me and i'll see if I can find a good lavender HEX color. Also, did you want something else added into that? Such as a certain font or maybe an image? 2. How do you know I play poptropica? lol :3 3. This is how to archive your talk page. Next to the "search" bar you should see an arrow pointing down. Scroll your mouse over that and you should see options "Move" and "Watch". Click "Watch", and it'll take you to another page that asks you what you'd like the other page to be named (the page you're moving it to). Most people name their archives User talk:name/number, but it's up to you. She no longer plays but since I've been on this wiki for so long I'm actually involved with CP longer than I thought I would be. I live in the same time zone as CP - Pacific Time. I don't generally buy CP merchandise apart from memberships. Apart from memberships, I used 1 Card Jitsu code and 1 Coin code. No I don't. The CP magazine isn't available where I am. The only other game I play regularly and I play it to have fun with my real life friends is League of Legends. I don't wish to share my in game name. Please note, if this doesn't fit into your preferences space for your signature, you can still have it for a signature. All you have to do is make a template and put your signature there instead- then put "{{SUBST:TEMPLATENAME}}" where your signature would go and make sure the box saying "treat signature as wikicode" is checked. Once that's done, make sure you click the "save" button at the bottom of that page of preferences, and whatever you have on your template will be your signature! I'm just telling you this because when I first started making signatures, I didn't know about that trick and I had to keep my signatures short because of all of the wikicode used to make them colorful (and trust me, this signature uses a LOT of wikicode). Instead, a quicker way would be to type ~~~~ (4 tildes - hold shift and press the button next to "1" on your keyboard). It's possible to make project pages (pages that begin with Club Penguin Wiki:) and Help pages but those are usually off limits to admins or admin approval. We do have a forum that few users use. If you want to help us get a kickstart on that it would be great! We are still looking for ways to make this wiki an interactive place, so if you have ideas feel free to submit them. This page was recently created to list out the current things we have. As an admin I also have the ability to create widgets. They're similar to templates but allow us to use raw HTML. That clock on the CPW Games page is an example of one. Because it puts the wiki at risk for viruses and such, any new widgets can only be created by admins and users requests must be made to me or another admin. In general there really isn't a lot of stuff to "create" on a wiki for factual Club Penguin. We do have wikis like the Fanon and Shops where you can take your creativity to if you have a lot of it. The point in having fun on this wiki isn't really about creating more pages, it's really about getting along with the other users on the site. --LordMaster96 06:32, 17 November 2013 (UTC) Your Signature Templates You don't have to create a new template for every change you make to your signature. Simply just edit the existing template you're using and when you want to change it back, click on the "View history" button on the template page and undo the changes you've made. It's less work this way. Also, I personally think your signature is kinda long. Yes, you can interview me :P 2. I'm currently 15 years old, and an interesting fact is that my birthday is the exact same as LordMaster's, so i'm exactly two years younger than he is. 3. I created my penguin, Penquino1 on November 15th, 2007 (he just turned 6 this past week :D). I didn't find the CPW until sometime in 2010, and I made the account Cp kid on August 3rd (2010). 4. I don't really play any other online games at this time, mostly due to my computer (unfortunately this includes Club Penguin, which I haven't played regularly since 2011). I used to play poptropica in middle school as a "guest", and Everybody Edits in 2011/12 with Chill57181 and Mario Rk (with the account Penquino). Once I get a new computer though, I'm hoping that I can start playing Minecraft, and continue playing CP and Everybody Edits. 5. I live in the US State of Florida. 6. I'd say my favorite color is probably blue.
