Club Penguin Wiki talk:Global Wall of Fame nominations
Only staff members can edit it? --Juca (discussão/talk) 01:14, 16 February 2015 (UTC)
- AHAHAHAHAHA I need to move this into a namespace people can edit. I didn't realize this. --Refractor (talk) 01:43, 16 February 2015 (UTC)
Idk if you want to think about this, but I suggested on the council page that maybe nominations have to be approved by a staff member and/or wiki admin for the wiki of which the user most notable edited (i.e. CPW or Fanon admin for TS), similar to how admin noiminations have to be backed by an admin. While we approved the Global Wall of Fame we never really decided what the minimum net plus vote would be for the nomination to be successful. Same with the network voting guidelines, since this falls outside of the CPW. Staffers, you might want to consider these. --LordMaster96 22:55, 16 February 2015 (UTC)
- I say 10 votes since that's a nice number although if nobody gets 10 maybe we do the top three or four. {{SUBST:Template:Mecsig}} 02:24, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
- I'm presuming a staff veto as well. --Refractor (talk) 00:46, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
I assume there will be a nomination page open even after this closes, similar to our WoF right? Because, I'd still like to nominate Tigernose, Tux and Wompus, but it seems like this page is somewhat overflowing. CK 15:33, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
Looks like Hat Pop, Sharkbate, Seahorse, Lordmaster, and Zone made the 10 vote cut if we leave it at that. Tigernose will probably as well. Poor Swiss, he never stood a chance. {{SUBST:Template:Mecsig}} 03:53, 22 February 2015 (UTC)
I am a bit sad TS probably isn't going to make it. I disagreed with him a lot, but he did shape CPW/CPFW when they were young. --Refractor (talk) 12:47, 22 February 2015 (UTC)
- It's only been one week, usually CPW Nominations are up for two right? If so, there's still time. Tbh, I think TS should be up there too, undoubtedly. CK 00:41, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
- I shaped the CPFW too.... :( --Happyface (talk|blog|contribs) 00:43, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
I think we just changed the name "Penguin of The Month" to "Global Wall of Fame". There's nothing new here. Lipe (discussão/talk). 18:31, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
I don't want to generate controversy, however, I can't understand the point of this voting if users who didn't pass it will be added to the Wall of Fame. It doesn't seem very democratic. Turtleshoom may have been important in the establishment of CPW, but some of his bigoted and extremist attitudes are unacceptable, in my humble opinion. --Juca (discussão/talk) 18:28, 22 March 2015 (UTC)

Now that we have over 20 voters, I think we should raise the number of nominations to 2/3 to 3/4 of the users rounded, so they would require 13-15 votes as of now. {{SUBST:Template:Mecsig}} 01:16, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
Nah, I think 10 is even a bit high, I think it should just be up to staff discretion based on how many people voted per nominee. Because to be fair, half of the nominees have less than ten votes, for or against, such as TS. Now, I know TS is probably because everyone is abstaining, but it's an example- the only people with all of the voters are the staffers, LM, and Zone because his move is a minor thing (not controversial).
