New Graphics for CP Wiki

Hi there. I'm A11766 (@A11766 on twitter), and I'm an experienced graphics designer. I used to help out on the wiki before I started blogging, but still use this place to read new info. Having seen the recent design changes, I wanted to help out.

Some design things

Hello! Since the mainpage's buttons and navigation menu are pretty old, I thought to make new things:

• A new logo for CP Archive .
• Some big buttons for the mainpage's menu : , .
• Instead of the big icons located at the sub-menus (Characters, Mini-games, Rooms, etc.) I think we should put simple colored circles : , , , , and resize them to 19px.

The Project

Hello,

I see you started the improvement project for the network. I assume you guys must start by promoting a new staff first, that meets the needs of the community. Maybe two if the community agrees. Remove the Bureaucrat rights from Tigernose, since he doesn't need them. I agree for replacing Tigernose, by letting Hat Pop taking over. For changing Seahorse, we need to think more about it. I told you I would support if he's really inactive, but in the current time I assume it's better not to start the demotion project of him. Let's discuss more about it. Currently I support having changes in the network, but still not to change Seahorse in the current moment. Suggest the few points I said above, it might meet our needs here, but reminder you started it so early, which I didn't expect XP. I still support your plans, but for this I need more time to be convinced fully. Sorry, if this disappointed you, but I did this since I felt something wrong with occur if we started that demotion thing so soon.

I have been observing the network lately. I noticed that the users kinda demand for few new things that might be successful.

Check the below demands that I saw it suitable for the improvements here:

• Make Hat Pop the Deputy Executive director instead of Tigernose.
• Promoting new staffers, that have got a good experience.
• Remove the Bureaucrat Rights from Tigernose, and promote a new user to be a Bureacurat.
• The IRC Channels of the CPWN must be open for all users to talk about CP and others, with no user must argue about the IRC being full of CP talks.
• The Director of the Wiki must involve more with the communities of the network.
• The staff must be available in all the wikis, in case they're needed (NOT necessary editing and involve with the community a lot).

These demands are what I see would fix things up, and would decrease the percent of problems.

Feel free giving me your views and opinions about it.

Questions

Hi LM. I need some editing help again (haven't asked you for article help in a while considering I messaged you like every day in early 2011, huh? KD).

• I think the Santa Beard article should be split into two pages. Even though items that look alike usually stay on the same page, I think this should be split into two pages because it contains the face AND beard clothes right now. So basically, i'd like to split it into separate articles for the separate neck and face items (but i'm not truly sure of the jurisdiction of that).
• All of the missions from the EPF video games. Mario thinks they should all be merged into one article (like the PSA Missions, and also because they're too "minor"), but i'm not sure because they're their own missions on the EPF video games. However once again i'm not sure hot exactly it should work.

Hi LM. I don't know if you like fanon whatsoever, but if you could possibly expand the Vonkouver article I created it would be greatly appriciated. I'm only asking because I don't want to describe them wrong or anything (plus Old Westminster, Fort Robson, South Vonkouver and LM Island don't have area maps :P). Please note I made "Greater Vonkouver" into the city of "Vonkouver" (since there aren't 2 Vonkouver cities in Southern Shops), and its suburb/borough of Vonkouver has been made into "Greater Vonkouver" (basically switched the names). If you don't want to expand it or anything it's alright :)

Dear LordMaster,

When I joined this wiki in 2010, you were the person that welcomed me. After that, I went to you for help or advice a LOT of times, almost every day from late 2010 into March or April 2011. Ever since then, i've not only looked at you as a mentor, but also a friend. You have been a great asset to this wiki, and without you it would've been sure to fall after our move. Recently, you haven't edited as much. But, nonetheless, you have still remained a great leader to this wiki and the community that accompanies it. If we ever need you, i'm sure you would be here to help.

Hey Lordmaster, I've been on CPW on and off for the last couple of years. I just rejoined (under Salteroi, my very old username!) and I wanna try to become more active. I have noticed that I am the only Aussie on here (?) and I also notice I can edit while all you North Americans are asleep. Awards

So is the CPW going to be the only wiki partaking in this year's events (since it's being called the CPW Awards), or are we just setting up the stuff for the CPW (and everyone else can figure their own stuff out)? If you don't know if shops wants to partake, i'll say yes (we'd like to) for now. But don't take my word on it yet, because i'm not quite at admin status so I can't make the final decision (although there's a vote occurring now, so we'll see); needless to say if I am promoted again then I'll see about getting the "process" started on shops too. Party Banner Glitch on TBM Summer Jam Page

Hey! When I try to edit the page for the Summer Jam, it shows up as "None" in the mascots section, when actually it is Brady, Mac, and Cadence waddling around. When I click edit, it shows that the mascots have been added, but when you submit it, no changes are made. Is there any way to fix this? Re:CPW Award Designs this year?

Hello,

I do think that we must make it similar to last year, since there is still time. We will make a similar pages like last year and allow users to make awards and add them. We can add the past awards design too and later choose the best design of all of them. It's my opinion, but you can decide anyway you want it to be.
